A note from Bob.....
Hello, my name is Bob Lasken. I grew up in a golf-playing family, and my first steps as a baby were to a golf ball that I hit. I played really well in Junior golf, won a national championship on the UCLA team, and played several years as a professional on the Asian Tour, South American Tour, the Ben Hogan Tour (currently the Nationwide Tour) and several other mini tours.
I began teaching golf in 1993. Currently, I teach at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, the greatest public golf facility yet. It is a truly special place, and I hope you are able to visit and play here one day. I will go into more detail on my Arroyo Trabuco page.
Throughout the years I have taken many golf lessons from several great golf instructors. Even though I teach, I feel that I continue to be a student of the game. I may find a better way to explain or feel the swing. Everyone is different, but the fundamentals remain the same. The purpose of this website is to share with you some of the keys, drills and teaching devices that have worked for me and my students in order to understand and feel the correct swing or certain positions. I hope that it is of some value to you.
